Providing care through the New Beginning
Fort Worth: 817.383.2240 | Surrounding: 844.617.6440
As we support your loved one through end-stage illness, our team offers the specific medical care and equipment that are required as per the diagnosis made by the patient’s physician. Our hospice teams are medically directed and are made up of doctors, nurses, nurse assistants, social workers, volunteers and chaplains. Alpha Omega Hospice also assists family members and friends of the patient as you say goodbye and mourn the loss of your loved one.
Our medical team puts a huge emphasis on family. We know that our patients are more than just patients; they are mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and more to their family members. Alpha Omega Hospice treats every patient on an individual basis, according to the patient’s wishes along with the wants, needs and requests of the patient’s family.
Our emphasis is family
When a patient is nearing the end of his or her disease course, it often becomes a priority to focus on comfort rather than to continue searching for and trying curative treatments. Although this can be a difficult time for anyone to experience, Alpha Omega Hospice is here to help during the end-stage of a friend or family member’s illness.
You are not alone
Alpha Omega Hospice is a ministry of care and compassion for those who are facing the final stages of an illness in Fort Worth and surrounding areas. During this time the emphasis is on comfort rather than curative care. We serve in the greater Fort Worth areas and chances are we have services in your location.
A concept of care
Alpha Omega Hospice is not a place, but a concept of care that allows your loved one to remain in their home setting: this includes nursing homes, hospitals and residential settings, but most often takes place in the home.
Quality of life
We focus on your loved one’s quality of life. Alpha Omega Hospice care involves a team-oriented approach to expert medical care, pain management, emotional and spiritual support. Our care is based on the needs and wishes of each patient and their family. We focus on quality of life.
How do we do this?
Our team develops a care plan to meet each individual’s specific needs. Members of our staff make regular visits to assess your loved one and provide additional care or services related to the hospice diagnosis. We are always on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are always available.
We've been there. We understand.
We Want to Hear from You
I could thank you a million times plus and it still wouldn’t be enough. So I’ll just say there are not enough thank yous or ways to express my gratefulness and love to each of you for the care, the love, the support, the kindness you all showed…you gave the whole family peace and joy. What a wonderful gift and blessing God gave to our family when He placed you in our life. I will never ever forget any of you or your love and kindness. I hold each of you dear to my heart. God bless you.
What can I say to Angels of Mercy? You have been there every step of the way and I don’t know what I would have done without you. May your mission of love and caring be blessed totally. I love you all so much.
Our family would like to express our gratitude to the Alpha Omega Hospice staff - the aides, the nurses, the social worker and the chaplain for the loving care shown to our Mother- Mavis Bartlett. Her journey at the end of life was peaceful - thanks to their wonderful care.
